Delete your Legacy Account

A Legacy Account is optional. LEGACY XI is fully playable without one. An account only exists if you chose to create it, and it is used to sign you in and to back your careers up so you can continue them on another device.

1. Delete it yourself, inside the game

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

Open LEGACY XI and sign in to your Legacy Account.
Tap the ⚙ settings icon in the top-right corner.
Tap 👤 Legacy Account.
Tap 🗑 Delete account.
Read the warning, enter your password to confirm, and tap Permanently delete.

2. What gets deleted

Deleted permanently, and this cannot be undone:

Your Firebase Authentication account — the email address and sign-in credentials used for your Legacy Account.
All of your cloud career saves stored in Cloud Firestore (all three career slots).

Not deleted:

Careers saved on your device. These are stored locally and are separate from your account. After deleting your account you can carry on playing them offline exactly as before.
To remove those too, use Settings → 🗑 Delete save in the game, or clear the app/browser storage for LEGACY XI on your device.

Analytics statistics, if you consented to them, are not linked to your account or your email address and are held by Google Analytics under its own retention settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. If you cannot access the game

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Please include:

The email address used for your Legacy Account.
A short confirmation that you are the account owner and want it deleted.
Optionally, anything that helps us match the account — for example the club you were managing, or roughly when you created it.

Never send us your password. We do not have access to it, we will never ask for it, and you do not need it for a deletion request.

We will reply to the email address you write from. We may ask you to confirm from the address registered to the account, so that nobody else can delete it. We handle these requests manually and aim to complete them promptly.
